How to avoid hearing "I'm bored" from your kids

My little one is still to young to tell me she is bored. I however am damn well old enough to say I'm bored!! These past couple of days of all day rain have been driving me crazy. I love them for the cozy feel they produce. I hate them because it means we are stuck in the house and Winter is coming (game of thrones reference...)

I got creative and created a list of fun things to do on rainy days like today and the upcoming Michigan Winter. I would love to hear some of your ideas too!

-Go to a friends house
-Target + Starbucks!! Need I say more?
-Square play cafe in Holland
-Catch Air
-Pumpkin train in Coopersville
-Pottery painting
-Chick fil A play area
- East GR library
-Bakery for a treat
-Public museum
-Childrens museum
-Air zoo
-Kroc center
-Play with play-doh
-Color learning with the game Twister
-Jesters court
-Grandville mall play area
-Kangaroo palace in Muskegon
-Great harvest bread (for a treat of course!)
-Plan a night away at the Holiday Inn waterpark
-Attend a mom-n-me class
-Thrift shopping
-Dollar menu lunch out
-Great wolf lodge in Traverse City
-Crayola color wonder
-Roller skating
-Movies

Most of these are within the Grand Rapids area unless otherwise stated. I would love to hear some of your go to fun things to do on a rainy day or in the Winter!
